METCO

Lynnfield Metco Program

METCO is a school desegregation program that enables Boston students to enroll in schools in Boston’s suburbs. It is completely voluntary, funded by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and private support, and managed through a collaboration among 33 individual school districts and the non-profit METCO, Inc.
